Last week, Electronic Arts re-released the first two Sims games on PC. These new versions come with the base game and all the expansions relased to date.

That said, this launch so eagerly awaited by many fans of the franchise has been marred by bugs. The EA forums are filled to the brim with reports of crashes, deleted saves, disappearing in-game objects and DirectX errors. In some cases, the game just won't launch.

The U.S. company has been quick to respond, stating that it's investigating these problems. We'll know more on the matter soon, and we hope for a fix.
