Directed by Hideki Kamiya and announced in February 2020, Project G.G. was to be a really ambitious action game with giant heroes. Alas, we've known next to nothing about it since it was made official.

Kamiya, who left PlatinumGames in October 2023, was no longer involved and refused to give any information about the game. Today, the Japanese studio's official website has erased all references to Project G.G..

So much so that it no longer appears on the page dedicated to games created by PlatinumGames. What's more, the list has been reduced from 22 to just 9 titles, with titles such as Mad World, Babylon's Fall and Sol Cresta erased from the company's history books.

This has not gone down well with former producer Jean-Pierre Kellams, who accuses the studio of "erasing its history" and deems this "regrettable". He goes further, saying he feels "deeply insulted ” as he had worked on these now-deleted games.

In any case, the fate of Project G.G. seems sealed.
